Beanius are never more than four. We are:
Scott Evanson vocals
Matthew Bean guitar
Doug Bean drums
John Scott bass guitar

Scott says:
Having played instruments from an early age, I’ve always been interested in music. In the beginning the music I mostly played was classical, but as I got older I started to get more interested in modern music. Bands such as “Jamiroquai”, “No Doubt” and “Green Day” were some of my early favourites. Then when I was 13 I discovered “Rage Against The Machine” and “Rush”, from that moment on I knew that I wanted to play guitar and be in a band. Over the next few years I was involved in many bands. At first, just doing covers, before I discovered how much I enjoyed writing my own songs.
Then at University I really got into song writing and played with a number of bands from. Covering styles from pop punk to ska metal, as well as doing my own acoustic thing. Throughout university I had living in the room directly below me, Matt. Generally keeping me awake late into the night by playing his guitar and keyboard (sometimes at the same time).
We’d been in a couple of bands together but had never really tried writing songs, so we formed a new band where we tried to write together, that went well and has now moved on to become Beanius.

Outside the Hemple Hotel, London, after shooting our first video.

Matthew says:
Born and raised on the tropical paradise of the Isle Of Wight, home of tractor racing and mind games. I started playing music early. Moving through instruments until settling with the guitar and piano. While at University I played in all kinds of bands. And doing so I met Scott and John. We dabbled in various bands together in those golden years. But it wasn’t until we all had left university, gone our separate ways for a little while, that I got the band back together.
However this time things were a little different. For the first time in my life I had a job and was a part time musician. To cope with this I had to create an alter ego. By day, mild mannered sales and marketing executive. But by night, I had to be a fire breathing, guitar shredding, stage wrecking guitar hero (stage wrecking, fire breathing and guitar shredding coming soon). Now with drummer extraordinaire/ my brother Doug on the drums, Scott singing, John playing bass and me on guitar (action figures soon to be available from all good petrol stations). Beanius are set to take the world by storm.

John says:
Who is John Scott? As soon ask yourself, Who am I? John Scott--world traveler, entrepreneur, bass player, but, above all, mystery--an ordinary man with an extraordinary idea of himself. A real person with a real history, he is also you and me, the face in the window, the voice on the bus.
What is John Scott? What he is to you is a window to another world, a mystery to perpetuate, a brand to flaunt. Wear the t-shirt, paste the sticker, ponder life; you will amuse your friends, confound your enemies, and inspire the masses to wonder what the hell is going on.
